Liwa and Ashouri

This traditional dance originated with the coming of African workers who worked with the region’s merchants. This exciting dance was later performed at wedding parties, due to the joy and pleasure it brings to the attendees because of its rapid rhythm, and has become one of the pre-marriage ceremonies. The Liwa and Ashouri dance has gained popularity in many countires in the Middle East, and is always a joy to behold.
