Daha Dance

The Duha or Daha, as it is called by the people of the Arabian Peninsula, is a Bedouin dance practised in the Negev region of Palestine, Jordan, northern Saudi Arabia, the valleys of Syria, Iraq, Horan and the Sinai Peninsula. In the past, the Daha dance used to be practised before wars to arouse enthusiasm among members of the tribe. Now it is prasticed on weddings, holidays and other celebrations, combining the art of poetry, dance and songs.
